"The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated." -- Mark Twain
Life has been rough but I'm planning on sticking to it for a few more decades. I still have cancer. It's moved to my liver. The chemo is working but it leaves me sick, in pain, nauseous, tired, and with a constant bad taste in my mouth. And I'm bald. But I have friends and family supporting me all the way and I'll be whipping this stupid disease in 2010. One more operation and a few more chemo treatments.
I'll be working on making this blog work better and continue in my absence when I go to the hospital. I'm sorry if I've let any of you down. If you want to start a new blog you have my blessings and I will add a link to it in the side panel.
I hope things will improve soon and that I don't let you down in the future.
Love, Mike - your wayward host.

You're sweet, Squirrel Girl Bearuh. No, keep your blog. You never know.
And thank you.
Love the new banner! And the Mark Twain quote on your post. Hang in there man...you've done a wonderful job with this blog and have no reason to apologize.
Hello Mike, well I'm so pleased to hear your voice again. Congrats on your recovering recovery.
PS: Don't worry about the hair! I save thousands a year by not a) having to by hair conditioner b) never visiting hair dresssers!!!
But seriously, that's great news. We are all very glad to hear you are doing so well.
God Bless.
Apology accepted.
Don't let it happen again.
Ah, great to hear you again, Mike. Do not worry about MAD; just get better.

Glad to see you are back ---but first and foremost, Get Well!
I, too, liked the Twain quote, but then I have collected zillions of quotes over the decades, and Twain's are among my favorites, as evidenced by my use of them in conjunction with some of my art postings on this blog.
We will still create and be fine. Focus on getting better!
I'm a fairly new member and love the new blog design. All my most positive thoughts and wishes are going out to you :)
