I love the expression on the girl's face and the way she's holding her hands. I have also noticed (and like very much) this textured border around your illustrations.

ok, this might sound kind of mental buttt....the blue shorts make it feel more retro...like some great "disney depicting the 1950's" kind of look. and then the "spots" shorts, bring it modern. but i dunno...if anything, the blush on the hyena's cheek is more distracting to me...like, if he's pretty and rosy he won't EAT her and w/o the blush, she's lunch - those bars aren't gonna hold that carnivore! but, love it just the same, blue shorts or no shorts. :))
