mother

For my first Monday Artday challenge I drew this portrait based on a black and white passport photo of my Mom holding me as a baby. In that photo, my Mom is about the same age I am now. It's been awhile since I worked so hard on a drawing and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for the invite and the challenge!

Sweet portrait. Nice work!

This is rich in character - your Mum looks distracted, a little uncomfortable, whereas you've got that fascinated look on your face kids have, like you just want to eat the camera or something.

Innocent and beautiful.

This is a wonderful drawing, I love the use of the pastels on craft paper.
