Mother's cactus

I love to see striking color plants and this one is from my mother's front yard. She has all sorts of cactus. The medium is watercolor on Daler Rowney 220gm watercolor paper.

I love your watercolour and the vibrant colours. I like working with this medium but I always tend to work very light and need to make a real effort when I want to come up with strong colours like these!
