Glass marble

As a child, I would spent hours looking at the appealing beauty of swirls inside the glass marble. I've collected hundreds of them; practically saved pocket money just to buy them. Played marble shooting game too but didn't really liked it cos my marbles were too precious to be knocked.

Wonderful, Emila! I loved marbles too. Cat's eyes, clearies, pearlies, agates... I was good. Those were great times.

Your illo is wonderful, of course. :)

Your drawings are beautiful, simplistic and sweet. All are very expressive, especially this one. Beautiful.

Emila, I love marbles. I still play with them! :-))) I blogged about playing with marbles and my collection here.

Yes, I want to exchange cards with you, but first I need to get organized. Most of my drawings are in my appointment book with ballpen. I have to make some in cards with rapidograph and india ink, enough to exchange with you and hopefully Mike and many others here. thanks.

Mmmm... I love this. It's so simple and so expressive at the same time - that's the hard thing to achieve!

lovely illustration. I love the how you use colors (or lack of) to draw your attention to the glass marble.
