After successfully setting up my Etsy store and choosing to sell Giclees instead of prints, I opted to create a gallery for just my Scatterlings© at Boundless Gallery. There are many opportunities online for artists to display their works, but I felt that Boundless Gallery would be the perfect home for my Scatterlings© pieces with certified prints and originas. I was thrilled to pass their stringent criteria (they said "exceeded" - blush) It is good to be included with these other professional artists. Boundless provided me with everything I need for my Scatterlings© line: a profile with room to list inventory, a mini Scatterlings© Journal, a shopping cart. In the future I will become an affiliate, add my events, become featured, send a newsletter.

I was uncertain what style to place these Giclees into as they are a mixture of several different styles. There is no style listed called: reality meets fantasy! If you wouldn't mind helping by taking a poll by choosing one of the listed styles, I would greatly appreciate it!

See more Scatterlings on my blog.

Scatterlings© is a collection of self-directed enchantment art which combines actual foliage with watercolor and color pencil mediums. Hidden among the actual and rendered foliage are an enchanted assortment of Scatterlings©; mythical animals and fairies. Jacquelyn succeeds in forming ’something’ out of ‘the nothing’ often overlooked in everyday life. These one-of-a-kind folk art pieces take up to a year to complete as flowers and leaves are collected, pressed, preserved and finally hidden within a vision that evolves continually. (Mixed Media; Pressed Foliage, Watercolor, Colored Pencil, Pen and Ink on Handmade Paper)

Jacquelyn allows her visionary concepts to evolve with this wonderfully detailed collection of fine arts. To review this collection is to allow yourself a glimpse in this journey of intuitiveness by creating a completely new non-traditional art concept. Jacquelyn is offering the highest quality giclees of each piece; either printed and stretched on canvas; or an enhanced archival print for the beginning collector.

I am not sure how my art found it's way here -- but I appreciate the mention! Thanks so much!

I wish "fantasy" was a category! Out of all the ones listed I almost chose 'metaphysical' but instead chose contemporary which doesn't have to mean 'modern.' Congrats on being there. I hope you'll do well! And now I finally have a name for you :)

Thanks Studio Lolo... thanks for taking part in the poll; I have no idea what category to put it into so I have been switching it around. I wonder if there is a list somewhere that shows the most chosen art style.

Bearuh... well now it is even more confusing. I had posted that message here on Jacketflap:
http://www.jacketflap.com/megablog/index.asp
but it gets written on this MondayArtday page. very interesting.
