This is a pretty good coincidence with the weekly theme. Yesterday, I got the notification that this painting "My offering - My confession" has been juried into Brand 36, a national Works on Paper show held at the Brand Gallery in Glendale, California. The show theme is "Secrets and Confessions" and the show opens October 6, 2007.
This full sheet watercolor painting is 22 x 30 inches and represents a moment during Day of the Dead in which a young woman visits the graveyard to share a secret confession. You will have to use your imagination to guess what the secret is, because I cannot tell.
