Interpretation

Just drew this picture but instead of explaining my reasons I thought it would be interesting to hear your interpretation of it. What does it say to you?

I think it's the mask we people wear when we don't want to show the world our real feelings, sadness for example...we show a big smile when inside we may be dying of pain or anger
...but this one seems to have cracks...i think the person to which this belongs can't pretend anymore...must be tired of the situation!
...that is just my interpretation :)

I think the person who use to have to wear this mask in front of everyone decided to take it off and run wild and freeee!

I think if you turn it over and hold the string, you can sit in it for a really awesome snow sled! Ya-hoo!

Or maybe someone made this person crack up with laughter until they're head fell off.

Or maybe it's something like what Zari and Bearuh said. Only, I hope there was a real smile hiding under that mask.

I knew someone who played Goofy at Disneyland. He said a common thing costumed caracters go through is a sore face from smiling all the time. They forget they're wearing a mask that's already smiling.

Nice piece, Ulf. :)

it's very spooky and a bit demonic, but i think i like that about it, as if it were a MASK, there would be a hollow mouth, but you have filled it with a real mouth. and yet the eyes are hollow. it's really intriguing, ulf. :)

Thank you for your comments, reading them has been great fun! Great also to know that the ideas and feelings I wanted to express really exist in the picture. Although I had never thought of it as a snow sled I must admit, now that is creative! :P
