I think either way is fine, my only ish sometimes is its difficult to scroll through and see the latest updates, some seem to get lost in the scroll. Maybe its just me. But I dont have to update it all the time either, so I'm just happy to be here. Where's the food table by the way?
I like the color frame. But it needs more cellpadding on each side - I would take your background image and make the inside color at least another 20 pixels wider.
Also, this blog should showcase the contributors. We love the interviews but they should be on a separate page so we aren't scrolling forever to see the next piece. And I like those interview graphics in the sidebar but they serve no purpose. They should link to the interview! No need for text links.
Is there a way to alphabetize the contributor list and put it in a drop-down menu?
And I'm not so sure about that new rating system. With the diverse styles, it's not so fair to compare them, and that anyone could vote anonymous, it could be abused. We have a great big love-fest here and if we don't give a 4 or 5 star rating we won't give a rating at all so it's kind of a moot point anyway.
Lastly, we all love you to pieces for all your hard work in running this site. You are awesome to the nth power! xoxo!
hello everyone! what a change! i've been busy this week & now that i've returned find this blog so different...change is good, & these are some points i consider could help: - chat is a great idea! - i prefer a wider central space - i guess the rating system is not necesary + it makes the lower info related to each post unorganized and difficult to read (name, no. comments, etc) - i totally agree that interviews should be on a separate page - i like the interviews' graphics but only if they serve as direct link to their respective pages
+ independently of the look...this site is great...thanks to Bearuh ;) and to all the nice people that participate chaoooo... :)
Thanks so much guys!!! I agree on making it wider.. Im workin on it. I see hwat you mean about the voting system.. I will take it off! I was not very sure about it. I will put interviews on a seperate page from now on.. maybe a whole new blog? Then maybe have the interview pics in a scroll box if its possible that link to the other blog. and mike.. alphabetize the contributor list... I have thought the same exact thing. There probably is a way.. just gotta figure the way out.. It automatically puts the names there so maybe I can take the code and make it automatically put it in a drop down... Hope I can figure that one out cause its a huge list and takes up a ton of space. Thanks everyone!!!! The changes may not take place right away but soon!
It would be cool if you could set it up so that the authors are categorized so that they are findable and all their stuff shows together.
I still have trouble with the colors. There is no error on a mac, but browsers show things slightly different. I am using firefox. I think the background in the main column are still really hard to read so it makes it very user-unfriendly to look at. There isn't enough contrast between the text and the background. Either white on black/gray/brown or black/gray/brown on white. I know you've been using white text in your posts so people could recognize you, but I'm not sure anybody really ever cuaght on to that. Your name is at the bottom of the post. Maybe you could use your name in the title or a logo to show proof that you are posting instead so we really notice it.

I think it's an improvement!
