I am afraid to draw

After I found out my mom had cancer in 2003, I was afraid to draw, afraid to let out all the feelings that were inside. As it turned out, she only lived 5 more weeks, and in the end, drawing was a big part of my healing. Blessings to all of you.

this is really something, rrramone. the hands that you drew, to your heart and the one holding the pencil, they speak volumes. art IS therapy and healing, isn't it? the blank page. we HAVE t put something on it...no matter how we feel. :)

I love your post and drawing. I agree 100% that having a creative outlet like this helps so much with the healing process. Your words are so comforting.

Hey, Willie. Funny how drawing opens up wounds but heals them at the same time.

Great drawing as always.
