The eyes

While doing these watercolour excercises I've found that if I get the eyes and lips right, the rest is fairly secondary. In this case it's the nose and eyes but I think it's still a valid point. Even the pipelike appearance of the hand is not bad enough to distract. Or I might be blind to my own work :)

This was a frame in a French thriller series (which means that it's a soap-opera with murders) that struck me as too intense for the rest of the material. So I painted it.
