Enrique says that a writer is like a chicken that lays novels. One night the writer in the story worked a lot in order to write a very good novel but after he did it, he felt asleep over the table. After that, he dreamed that a giant hand lifted the ceiling and took the novel off. In the morning the novel was gone.
I worked slowly during three weeks in this illo, and I think it is my very first illo, for real. I'm thinking about made some more for create a portfolio and searching for a rep. What do you think? I need your sincere opinion :)

I like your color choice a lot and you have caught the facial expression beautifully. If I think deliberately about what you could have done differently, I wonder what the illo would look like, if the desk wasn't positioned at a 90 degree angle to the viewer, but if you looked at one of its edges. But then the whole scene might not look that harmonious. I also wonder what it would look like when the cupboard was on the right side and not on the left. Maybe the head would pop a little more. Just some thoughts that came to my mind...
This is so great Pati!! The wood floor must have taken forever!! I really like it! good job! You definetly should make more for a portfolio!
I'd be proud of this artwork. I like the textures and colour scheme. I couldn't work out what the object on the mat was but that was the only distraction.
I was really surprised with this illo...i liked it at first sight but didn't recognize it as your work, it's so different from the Godo style we are used to (which you know we all love) but i think this is great...so tender...love the color scheme, all the little details and textures...in this small size it couldn't get well what was on the mat...but it seems to me it's a cute cat, i'm i wrong?
-eso si...me parece a mi que la mano le faltara un poquitin de textura, porque contrasta con el resto de la imagen que esta super elaborada...pero no se decirte si eso es +ve or -ve
-sure you must do more for your portfolio....and gooooooood luck my friend!
