Favorite Book - Where the Wild Things Are
Maurice Sendak is one of my favorite illustrators of all time, since I was a kid.
So this is a quickie homage. (you know you're setting yourself up for failure when you can never compare to the original!)

don't know what your old technique was, but this is wonderful.i really like the colours.
well, the new technique was i was trying to replicate the look of an oil pastel drawing on black paper, but in photoshop. By starting on black and sketching with white.

I really like your homage Dot! I love using dark backgrounds because the colors just jump right out at you. Great drawing of this character! =)
