Great illustration! If you have milkweed near you...the caterpillar on it in August changes to a Monarch. You can catch them as caterpillars, feed them milkweed plants, and watch the change into butterflies right there in a bug catcher! I love the colors in your artwork!

Susan, I grew up with milkweed around the perimeter of the parking lot at my gradeschool, so we saw those striped caterpillars and the beautiful monarchs that would emerge! Thanks for the memories!
