My Hometown - Singapore

Merlion
My hometown is a small little sunny island in Southeast Asia called Singapore. I was born and bred here. It is a very neat place in both sense of the word.

Tourism is an important part of our economy and the merlion in this illo was first created as an icon for promoting our tourism industry back in the early 70s. Since then, we have come to identify ourselves with it as well.

This August I am hosting a small ATC exhibition after hosting a monthly trade session for nearly a year. ATC is relatively unknown in Singapore and I hope for more people to discover the joy of it.

Coincidentally, as part of the show, there will be a swap based on Singapore as a theme. Aug 9th is our National Day. I am still looking for international participants. I hope to hear from some of you here.
