October - the month for some fun Hallowe'en Art....and fun facts....

Hi Everyone....Remember when we were all younger and getting our Hallowe'en costumes picked out and made was one of the funnest projects!!!I never was a Mummy...but sometimes I thought about it....something fun about being hidden away ....
I found this cool web site called....How Stuff Works....and located some info on Mummies....here is an excerpt
Along with Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster and the Wolfman, the mummy is one of the great figures of the classic horror-movie genre. And it's easy to see why: In a sense, mummies are real-life, tangible ghosts.
They are bodies that stick around long after death.
and to read about Modern Mummies you can click here....and you can even see a movie clip with some Modern Day Mummies...this also lead to the process called plastination....that was created by a bunch of scientists and lead to the modern day shows referred to as "Body Worlds" pretty scary.....and neat at the same time.....See you tomorrow!!!!

I went to a body worlds exhibit in Cleveland once. It was really neat, but I felt queasy afterwards.
