Here is my digital illustration for the 'Bigfoot' challenge. Actually more like a mini-bigfoot. I did a few sketches to work out my character, then moving to Illustrator I created my bigfoot. Once I got him drawn, I moved over to Photoshop to composite the background in as well as adding some effects. I hope you enjoy it.

Amazing. I love it. So did you use a scanner to move your drawing over into illustrator and trace it or how do you begin your process?
Thanks for your kind comment.
I started with a few rough sketches which I refined into a decent version. I use my digital camera to just take a quick pic which gets it into the computer. I use this sketch pic as a guide to do the actual illustration in Illustrator. If you go to my blog you can see the original sketches.
Once the character was done, I opened it in Photoshop where I had the background image. I added the shadow, the tilt-shifted effect, and some color adjustments.
The tilt-shift works great with this - emphasizes the size of this little guy. Nice work.
