Fire within.

I did this last night while laying in bed wondering how the hell I'm ever going to make things right- I recently wrote a sarcastic, but very funny recap of my brother's wedding. The in-laws were less than welcoming and my "narrative" went into very harsh, but still comedic, detail. This story got into the wrong hands and was distributed to all those I made fun of. The illustration is a self-portrait of my heart being in the wrong place. I have one... but my desire to destroy sometimes pushes it under my foot.

"This wound is far more deep within, it bleeds from the outside- in."

Great illustration and story.
Don't apologize for being sarcastic. Most people deserve it and it's pretty entertaining.

Wonderful. And good story! Hope your brother doesn't suffer any consequences from your pointed observations. :)

my brother isn't speaking to me.... his last word to me began with a "c". He's very eloquent.

Not my fault the other bridesmaids were bridge trolls.

C'est La Vie. I'm going by the name Bertha Jorkins now. She's an obscure Harry Potter character that gets killed because of her big mouth.

Thanks for the kind words Mike. :)

You've made a lovely piece!
Wow, I really do understand how you feel, believe me! Did you apologize? It would be great (I guess) if you give these beautiful illo with a personal note to your brother... may be it could be the first step to make things go better.
