Famous Painting: Danae

Watercolor, 24 x 30 cm

I painted this watercolor after the famous oil painting by Gustav Klimt. "Danae" was a figure of Greek Mythology. For further information or comparison look here.

How It Works

Weekly Challenge - Every Monday a new challenge will be posted. That challenge ends two weeks after it begins. In other words, you have two weeks to complete each challenge - a new challenge each week and each challenge lasts 2 weeks so there are always 2 overlapping challenges. A "winner" will be chosen for the challenge of two weeks previous and posted. The winner and the new challenge will be posted by the host each Monday (hopefully).

If you win the weekly contest then you cannot win again for 4 weeks... that way everyone else has a chance.
