Hawbear's Room!

Here's a page from a book I illustrated. It's not totally the 4 panel criteria, but the closest thing i have to it for this week! It was still a very fun page to do - I found it hard to illustrate all the text on the page in just 1 character drawing, so i did multiple of the same character trying to illustrate each word and detail. I find it to be a bit more playful this way too. Hope you all like it!

Hairspray Anyone?!

The topic hair right away made me think of the 80's! Who could ignore the big hair and crazy perms! So this sketch is inspired from those times. Unfortunately i didn't have enough time to do a finished coloured version, but hope in later time to add that version to my blog!

I'm thinking hot pinks and neon greens! Thanks for looking.

Many people come to visit my hometown on Manitoulin Island. Its very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature and wildlife. This is a picture of the dock if you were to take the ferry across to the island!
