Mother No.2

This is just a fun post about Motherhood. This is Isabella Wellesley, the character who has been living in my Moleskine journal for four years. Isabella has big feet and loves shoes (and socks). But there is something or someone she loves more than shoes! :-) Obviously. This drawing was done with a Rapidograph pen on a 4x6 in. acid-free card stock.

i love this! the way the writing slides down her leg, the babies expression, her amazingly large shoes and the whole wonderful feeling that explodes off the page! Totally dig it!!!

I like the movement of your drwing. It's a fact that mothers are always running and you managed to show that. Of course we could all go faster if only we had Isabella's feet...

Sweet! I love the big-footed Isabella! :)

Let's all join with the baby in doing the wave.

Thanks. I have fun drawing Isabella and her shoes - a lot better than going out and shpping for shoes.
