Glass

Ballpoint drawing on Moleskine ruled notebook.

It was not the glass ceiling that stopped absent-minded Isabella. She ran smack into the glass wall. She had to rearrange her priorities. Some re-engineering is required here; she thought “Perhaps there should be a potted plant to make the almost invisible wall more visible.” Her friend sighed and gently told her “But then you might walk into the potted plant!” Isabella just looked at her friend. If looks could kill…her friend busied herself with helping her pick up the papers and the coffee mug. They continued on their way to their offices and then they burst out laughing.

i did that... at a very important opening! though i was just 15 at the time and just an usherette..... I didnt care if my face was broken... I was outta there!!! The next day they put stickers on the glass.... MY mishap silenced the whooooooooooole place.. the bang... (a crowd of over 500).... wow.. this brings back memories... ! (looking up at valgalart... I wonder if this is an ARTIST kinda thing to do?)

Really love the textures you employ in your pieces... and the design of your pages

i didn't run into a glass wall but does an air conditioner count? i walked head-on into it, fell to the floor, heard chirps, and hightailed it home with my pockets overstuffed with embarrassment....

isabella, you deserve combat pay. it's a good thing ces captures your fashionability so well.

Great drawing Ces! My cat hit the glass while chasing a butterfly! Anyway, can I exchange postcard with you as well? Let me know if you're interested. My email is emila@emilayusof.com.

My Sully does this. Maybe I shouldn't clean the windows so much. Great concept!
