REd: Flowers in the City©
Poppies are an unusual flower. sort of a flowery representative of society?... They have bright colours.. floppy petals. They seem happy. Yet people recognize they do have their dark side. They can be decorative or useful... They can be used for good.... or "not". They are recognized internationally as an emblem for remembering. They are one of my favourite flowers. 30x30 is the size of this canvas.... This is part of the series I am putting together for September

You are so eclectic in your subject matter. You have excellent details.
Thankyou very much.... I'm really not a realist... preferring a slightly modified impressionist style.... this perhaps has touches of it here and there but it was a challenge in that it was so abstract! To form it.. you have to see the shapes and place them just so, or it simply didnt look natural or relative to the other shapes.
