Whenever I include a dog in one of my paintings, it is almost always based on my dog, Penny. NOt because I love her so much ...which I do...but because that's the only kind of dog I can paint. She's a yellow lab, golden retriever, german shepard mix.
Actually this doesn't look that much like her...except for the color. And the sweetness. Did I mention that she is accidentally the best dog in the world?
