Recently I was working on an update of a whimsical image of a sun at my work. If you would be so kind, please tell me which one you prefer.
There are small versions because the image appears at different sizes in different places, and I had to add line and take out shadows on the smaller versions.

I think the large one on the left with teeth is the best! Nice designing.

i prefer left one. its expression is great! i love its eyes and teeth which ones aren't in the second picture. of course, fine lines aren't visible as well in smaller version but the first sun's face is friendlier everywhere - i think.
I like the guy on the left. His nose is what did it for me. A winning smile is important, too. He exudes confidence; we need that in our solar system.

Make that four. Definitely the one on the left works best. It has personality and expression, while the second one looks too much like a smiley.

I like the one on the left because of his smiling eyes. By the way, how about one with braces?
I like them both. The one on the left does have more character, but the shadow around the eyes makes him seem shy or uncertain. The one on the right looks like he's had too much caffeine. Both are great! But the details on the one with the nose make him stand out more. The teeth, the human-like expression, the nose (which is rare in most other images you see of smiling suns).
I'd go with the left as well, but the eyes seem almost sad with the smaller version. The smile added to the expression of the eyes is what makes me think he's uncertain. A different angle of the shading there might change that.

i like them both as well.. very different feels. i think i prefer the right one, but my first instinct was the left. but i'm going with right.

Thank you everyone for your comments. They are much appreciated. I must go with the left one by popular demand; My employer will always go with what is more universally appealing.
