And The Winner Is... Lynette!

The winner for the "Speed" challenge is:

Lynette!

Congrats, Lynette. It was a tough choice among all the amazing entries but your dreamy imagery and folksy style shined through.

Wow! 2 months later and the challenge is finally over! Sorry it took so long, folks. I was in the hospital for an emergency operation to remove some cancer and rearrange my digestive system. I've been sick for a year and I had finally found some compitent doctors. I'm getting chemotherapy (gentle stuff - I won't lose my hair) and I expect a full recovery.

I tried to come back a couple of weeks ago but I got tired and had to go through more tests. All is well now and I'm back. Let's get this show back on the road.

I'm so sorry to hear that Mike. Cancer sucks. Big time. I hope you can enjoy a full recovery and just know that you'll be in my prayers.

Thanks, my friends. The operation hurts and it takes time to recover, but I'm thankful for it. I know what's wrong with me and it's being treated and I can now eat real food. I've been sick for a year and today I feel great. So, no worries! All is well. :)

You have been on my mind a lot. I have been praying for you. If you need any food recipe ideas, let me know. About 55% of my diet is raw in the winter, and that jumps to around 75% in the summer. "Real" food is always best. I have my own medical issues and diet has made a real difference. Take care.
