Build

I build a lot of buildings and here are some of the buildings I like to build. This is my John in his studio and the afore mentioned buildings in the loft above him. When I participate in the Topanga Art Studio Tours, John lets me use his beautiful studio to set up my art and people come from all over the city to see me and see where we live. It's nice because even though I love having the show I wouldn't want tons of strangers tramping through our home and John's studio is separate from our house but on the same property. I have 2 studios and I use both, one is for airbrush and resin and one is for hand painting at my drafting table and storing my art in flat files. I love to build buildings and paint buildings.

Build (a collage)

For this week's theme I thought of somehow showing how I "build" a collage. Then, my husband took photos of me while I was doing a Demo Friday night that were perfect! I have a showing of my art up at a local restaurant and the owner asked me to come in & demo during the run of the show. I built it! My first Post on Monday Artday

The shed that Jeff Built...I know big deal right? Well I was proud of it. I had to build a foundation as the shed is on an incline and I poured a concrete slab in front of it. I was thinking of running some electricity out to it...just in case.

Building A Life

You often hear people talking about building a life together, so I thought this collage would fit in with the theme. It's funny how we set off on a certain path only to change course so many times or getting lost along the way. I'm still trying to figure it out all these years later.

Build

I should be working on the above painting but I pulled out my prismacolor pencils and started to build a house for a ladybug. It's biodegradable!

Build

Eversince they were little, all the things the 3 Little Pigs built, Rolfe the Wolf destroyed.
