Favorite Artist

This illo doesn't exactly fit this week's challenge, but it's my take on a favorite artist's work (Vincent van Gogh's "The Starry Night"). I call it "Starry Coffee and Chocolate", in which I incorporate a couple of my own personal favorites.

**EDIT: I neglected to mention that the original of this was an ATC especially made for Margot, who also loves van Gogh, coffee, and chocolate!**

recognize them :'( ??? ...mmm...well they are Pati, JC, Mrs.Froggie, and Mike....hope you like your ATC portraits!

Favorite Artists

When we first started exchanging artist trading cards and postcards, Godo was the first card I ever received, and I sent a Toblerone ATC to Pati in exchange. Pati is not only talented but also very sweet. This is her hugging her own Toblerone bar. Godo looks a little jealous, though.


So I made him his own Toblerone bar that he can share with his brothers. (yes, I have received confirmation that Godo is indeed a thumb)


Zari is also another wonderful artist, and a favorite ATC trading friend of mine. I sent her a brownie card, but it went missing. Not sure whatever happened to it?

My Monday Artday Fav Artist

I just wanted to say thank you to Pati and Godo for posting :) I am truly grateful to meet such wonderful friends through this blogging community and Pati and Godo have always been so kind to me and have always been so wonderful. Pati's illustrations are superb and Godo - he's always the cutest of course!
