Medusa Mole Sketch

Here's me in the holiday spirit, LOL! Confused and ready to bite! Too bad I haven't been that young in 40-some years!!! LOL!

Medusa, by Mary Stebbins Taitt. First sketch in Steve's Molie.

NO MONEY

Hello guys! Miss you a lot! I’ve been very busy lately to participate in MA, but I wanted so much to post so I did this simple character for this week’s subject. Very simple illo, but I hope you enjoy it. See you!
- I added some patterns but I guess the Plain sketch is better, what do your think?

Transitions: Angelina at the Window

This is a really quick small sketch on a tiny piece of scrap paper: pencil, charcoal and pen. It also didn't scan terribly well. Click image to view larger (much larger than the original sketch--even this small one is larger).

Angelina sees some transitions in American Politics allowing her to have a voting choice in the primaries between an African American and a woman. They might actually each have a chance of winning. She's eager for the transition that will allow her to vote for an African American woman and have some hope for her electibility.

3 Halloween pictures

Here are three Halloween pictures, Myrlynn, a Myrlynn card for you, and the Halloween Moon. Click images to view larger. Hope you have a great Halloween. :-D

These are sketches, hand drawn on paper, but I added the moon on the computer.

My first post at Monday Artday!

First of all, thank you Bearuh for inviting me to join. I think it is a great idea to start the week with an art challenge that you can participate in just for fun and I can't wait for Monday to come! Today, I'm posting two sketches I did yesterday, while looking after my two daughters (5 and 2 yo), who were playing outside. They are my most frequent models, guess why... I keep this big sized (A4) notebook that I use as a kind of home journal: I write about the kids, what we do, I note down recipes and I illustrate it with my sketches.

some new sketches

Hi all. This is my first post here--just some recent sketches. I've been trying to get back into sketching more often these days. Faces are the most challenging for me. Anyhow, glad to see all of your work here!
