This one reminds me of the few years that we were blessed enough to have lived in Hawaii. If I listen close enough, I can almost hear the geccos chirping... and my heart begging me to move back!

In your email, title it "I want to join!" and include a link to your work (we need to see your work to verify that you can participate, not to judge your talent). You must submit crafted illustrations to this blog (digital, ink, pencil, paint, sculpture, collage, etc. - please, no photography). CHECK YOUR EMAIL! You will then receive an email from this blog inviting you to post. Requests to join may take up to one week to receive an invitation. You must accept the invitation within a month or it will automatically be removed. Be sure to check your "spam" box to see if a reply was mistaken as spam. Too often invitations go unanswered. You may always make another request. NOTE: Once you join, you will be an AUTHOR of this blog and it will show up in your blog list, private or not. If your list is set to private, it still will be - you'll just have Monday Artday in it.

How It Works

Weekly Challenge - Every Monday a new challenge will be posted. That challenge ends two weeks after it begins. In other words, you have two weeks to complete each challenge - a new challenge each week and each challenge lasts 2 weeks so there are always 2 overlapping challenges. A "winner" will be chosen for the challenge of two weeks previous and posted. The winner and the new challenge will be posted by the host each Monday (hopefully).

If you win the weekly contest then you cannot win again for 4 weeks... that way everyone else has a chance.
