Hey, gang! So many incredible Elvis illustrations! I was particularly taken with Zari's, Tekentijger's, and Cale Atkinson's. Zari's is beautiful, well executed and funny! Tekentijger did a wonderful job in sweetly illustrating the lyrics to "teddy bear". And Cale perfectly captured the ultimate Elvis impersonator. Oh! And Roberta Baird's is simply LOVELY! But this week will be the last time I'm letting the previous winner choose (that being Josh Pincus) as I've been having trouble with that feature. I ended that feature a few weeks ago but since I agree with what Josh says about his pick, I'm going with it.Josh says: "I would choose krisztina maros' illustration. I have been watching the entries all week and that one kept grabbing me in its simplicity and beautiful execution."
Congrats to Krisztina Maros!

IF: baby... too

well it's a great topic on illustration friday, because there everyone has an absolutely different idea about this. so i've three children (the twins between them) and i could tell you so much story about a busy day... but, just look at this drawing for example :) - without i'm wishing to boast!

elvis and his babyface

hi! i always surprise when i see elvis' babyface - at an early stage - i think he had a really perfect, so regular face - as jim morrison had too. i know the beauty is not enough but it is to be regreted that both of them had eaten by rock&roll.

if you have too much money...

sometimes too much money can change your mind: like Harpagon's of Moliere. since that time you will not sleep very well...
