I haven't had time lately to draw because of wedding planning and renovating our house. But today I managed to take part in this week's Illustration Friday.

IF - Rambunctious

Her teachers thought her rambunctious, her parents decided she was just spirited, but Witchetty just wanted to dance in the moonlight.

I.F: "Baloon".

Once when my sis n I were kids, my mother tied two baloons on my sisters pony-tails so that she could be easily spotted incase she wandered off in a crowded place. So when I saw the topic for I.F this time I was reminded of that.

Repair

In the middle of moving house I haven't had time to draw, so here's a piece I did for Illustration Friday a few weeks back.

Poppieeees

Loving seeing what everyone's been posting lately -- I've been a slacker.

Oh, and I'm going to be doing a holiday card 'art show' contest on Dabbled this month. Come play!

Here's what I did for IF this week:

This is my first entry here. I did this piece for Illustration Friday and thought I'd send it here as well, though a little late. Hope you like it.

Stiches

Stiches always liked playing with Frankenstein's strings, Frankie didn't...

Strings

I'm working on my artday submission right now, but this was my IF for this week. Watercolor pencil, no digital this time. I love the sad feeling she invokes.

Packed for IF

It's been a while since I posted here and I just haven't had the time to create a piece for the theme, so I'm sharing what I created for IF this week.

ISLAND

-----------------------------------------
When I was little, I used to think that someday I might end living on a deserted island. Whenever that idea crossed my mind, I asked God for some essential things to be found on that place; plantains, milk, wheat, tomatoes, and water…the reason behind this selection was very simple; water to drink, milk for making cheese to go with the plantains; my favorite plate! Wheat for preparing dough, tomatoes for the sauce, and these, along with the cheese, would be enough to prepare a delicious pizza, my second favorite plate! Mmm!

Detach for IF

A spot illustration I just completed seemed to fit well with this weeks theme of "detach", as literal as it may be.

IF: Detached

This weeks topic at Illustration Friday is "Detached". Just a little doodle on the gut wrenching and detached feeling of love lost...
